Adapter does not work

By: on 8 February 2019
I purchased this adapter for use with my OBD 2 Actron scanner. My vehicle was a 1990 Dodge Ram 50 with an OBD 1 port. There was no responses, the scanner didn't activate--just sat there with no power (my scan device is brand new and works on OBD2 vehicles). Your adapter just does not work.

We are sorry to tell but your vehicle is OBD1 and the cable adapters do not make your vehicle talk OBD2 language. They are here to accommodate the older style plugs to connect to scan tools which normally come with 16 pins connectors therefore on the very same product page where you purchased the unit from it says 'Note: This item is only the adapter. Requires a scan tool capable of reading OBD1 code readers for Mitsubishi cars.' If you need any further assistance with your purchase please contact our support.
