Date Posted:14 June 2018

If you own a 2018 Ford Ranger or Everest, this may affect you.

Ford Australia has issued a recall for over 280 of the above vehicles over fears the steering shaft weld may not meet required specifications. The car company said the weld problem may cause the steering column to detach from the steering gear.

“This condition could result in a loss of steering, increasing the risk of accident or injury,” the recall notice says.
